Book Club with The Bitch: The Soul of a Chef

I just picked up this book:

The Soul of a Chef: The Journey Toward Perfection
By Michael Ruhlman

I just finished chapter one...and I'm thirsty for more.

It's a sort of on-the-edge-of-your-seat cooking/literary experience.

I love Ruhlman's style because his passion obviously lies with his subject:
Cooking, Food, the Process, and the Place of the chef.

Yet, his literary sense has me wondering what's more intoxicating, the verse that describes the action, or the action itself?

I invite you to join me for this read, and, a month from today...I'll come back and we'll discuss?

Any takers?

Well, regardless, I'm reading this thing...and, so far so good...

Go pick one up!

No, I didn't. I don't have cable, but, Adam watches at work occasionally and I did hear of Ruhlman's appearance. Maybe one day we'll buckle and do the cable, but today, my friend, is not that day.
